I hope you
enjoy the images I have chosen to exhibit. Some
I have selected for picture quality, how an image can change by
just using simple interchangeable frames grouped to depict a theme
or tone of colour. Interior designers will tell you how colour/
light/ reflection/ movement and tranquillity
can all affect our visual senses and therefore influence our moods.
As I have always had a true exuberance for life I feel the need
to have constant change and stimulation so this method of decorating
my home is far more enjoyable and cost effective!
Other selections have been made
from photographs that have now become a social
photographic study. Candid moments
in real situations, I look for interesting people
who exude life in their work or leisure. Trendy! Flamboyant! Fascinating
faces that tell a story. The buzz at the fishing
port waiting for the days catch to come in. Fishing is not so
much an occupation but more a way of life. Generations of father
and sons join the brotherhood, maybe it’s this that gives
a sense of responsibility, or is it mans passion for the hunt
that drives these fishermen to work long hard hours and to face
the dangers of the sea. I was fortunate to have been invited to
join the boat “Cantal” out
of Villajoyosa port (the oldest fishing port on the Costa Blanca)
Thanks to Pedro Mauri Soler and Pepe (apparently his Valencian
nickname) real name Jose Llianares Orozco Cantal’s engineer
and skipper respectively, now my very special friends, they are
such warm-hearted men I am humbled by their generosity, I hope
if there is any interest in these photos I can contribute something
towards making life onboard easier. to view >"Aboard Cantal"
Through the nature of social photography
I may have taken shots of people without their knowledge, but
would hope that they find being part of this study a compliment,
it is my sole intention for it to be a celebration
of the essence of life!
I spend a great deal of my time in Spain, where I can capture
amazing light and colour the perfect recipe for good health and
happiness. I hope that my photographs impart this to those who
take the time to view them.
It is my aim to update this gallery
regularly and to improve both the quality and technique.

a photo to prove it! I‘m hiding in the gallery see if you
